Case study
Sustainable Pack: an eco packaging brand
The context
The context
Sustainable Pack is a sub-brand of Digi-Pack, a Polish packaging manufacturer. It makes plastic-free cardboard packaging for fresh fruit and vegetables: CompostTray™ trays that break down in a home compost bin, RecyklingTray™ trays made from recycled board, and FSC®-certified transport boxes for European retail chains.
The brand is ahead of EU rules. Under the new packaging regulation (PPWR), single-use plastic packaging for fresh fruit and vegetables under 1.5 kg is banned from 2030, and Sustainable Pack gives retailers a replacement now. After smaller jobs for Digi-Pack, we were asked to build the brand from scratch.
What we did
What we did
01
Visual identity
Logo, eco-labelling system and a certificate badge.
02
Prints for 20+ products
From small trays for soft fruit to large transport boxes, each in several variants (raspberry, blueberry, vegetable) and in Polish, German and English.
03
Designing for the folded box
The packaging ships as flat die-cuts, so we checked every layout for how it reads once assembled.
04
Offset print preparation
Spot colours, underprints and separations for different substrates.
05
72-page catalogue with 3D renders
The full range with specifications, folding diagrams and sales arguments. With no finished products to photograph, we rendered every box in context.

The outcome
The outcome
Sustainable Pack now sells in Poland and Germany. The branding is used in direct sales, at trade fairs and in talks with retail chains, and our 3D renders still appear alongside the company's own product photos.
