Case study
Medaid: one brand for a first-aid company
The context
The context
Medaid is a Poznań-based company that has been teaching first aid for over 20 years, with courses for individuals, companies and emergency services run by instructors with medical training. It also makes its own first-aid kits and sells them online to both individual customers and businesses. Fast growth and a widening offer had left the brand looking inconsistent.
Medaid brought us in as an external design team for a long-term brand refresh. The company needed a common visual language and a better way of producing design work, without stopping day-to-day communication.
What we did
What we did
01
Needs and goals analysis
Where the inconsistencies came from and what mattered most.
02
A plan of small steps
Spread over time, with Medaid setting the priorities.
03
A stylistic direction
Quickly turned into real projects.
04
Templates the team can use
Medaid's staff had designed for themselves for years, so we gave them flexible templates, e.g. for social media posts about courses.
05
Print, packaging and merch
Rescue instructions, a product catalogue, business cards, first-aid kit packaging, roll-ups and a training-room wall, plus jerseys and the ‘Inspirujemy do działania’ emblem.

The outcome
The outcome
Medaid can respond to the market faster and doesn't have to outsource every new piece, while keeping a high standard of visual communication. Today Medaid's team creates new materials on its own, building on the system we designed.
