They approached us during the intensive development phase, just before the first round of funding closed. They had a plan for new functionality, but before implementing it, they wanted to modernize the interface and solve problems reported by customers.
We identified more than 100 usability problems, which we categorized according to priority, implementation complexity and source of request. We presented the results in the form of an interactive application with a backlog and roadmap for action. Based on the findings, we designed low-level mockups to define the new information architecture and component scope. We tested these internally with the Tequipa team, iterating the solutions before moving to the visual layer. We then built a design system based largely on Material Design, tailored to the specifics of the product. All work was based on the existing visual foundation - Tequipy already had a logo, illustration concept, color palette and typography.
The cooperation has been in place since the beginning of 2024 and goes beyond the interface itself - we also support Tequips with marketing tasks and develop their visual system.
