Case study
Wingstore: rescuing and relaunching a skydiving store
The context
The context
Wingstore sells skydiving and air sports equipment to individual jumpers, organisations and the military, and has operated on and off since 2003. When Wingstore came to us, its new online store wasn't working and the return to the web had stalled.
For a niche audience the store is the core of sales, and the shopping experience weighs heavily on buying decisions.
What we did
What we did
01
Store design
A new design for a store with a catalogue of over 1,400 products.
02
Coordinating the relaunch
We took over coordination of the whole process and guided the build team and store management through it until opening day.
03
Analytics from day one
GA4 with a dataLayer set up as part of the launch.
04
Print and merch
Flyers, beach flags and branded neck gaiters for the relaunch.
05
Online ads
Creatives to announce the store's return.
06
Language versions
We helped plan the store's six language versions; Wingstore's team did the translations itself.
The work
Store, print and merch
Desktop, mobile, print and merch
The outcome
The outcome
We got the store back on track. Wingstore's return was noticed across the skydiving community, and today it is a leader on the European market: the store sells in six languages and its sales keep growing, from 1,500 products sold in 2024 and 2,000 in 2025 to over 4,500 in 2026. These days we step in from time to time; Wingstore's team handles a lot on its own and keeps growing the business.
4,500+
products sold in 2026
3×
more products sold than in 2024
1,400+
